MartyK Printing (operated by MartyK Photography, ABN 96 747 561 563) is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

When you use MartyK Printing, we may collect the following personal information:

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
• Delivery information: postal address, suburb, state, and postcode — collected only when you choose a delivery fulfillment option.
• Order information: print sizes, quantities, paper selections, and any special instructions.
• Photos you upload: images you provide for printing. These are stored temporarily during order processing and transferred to our fulfillment system. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.
• Payment information: payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
• Usage information: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for security and diagnostic purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

• Process and fulfil your print orders, including producing prints and arranging delivery or pickup.
• Send order confirmation emails and dispatch notifications (including tax invoices).
• Respond to customer service enquiries.
• Maintain account security and prevent fraudulent transactions.
• Comply with legal and tax obligations (including record-keeping under the Tax Administration Act 1953).

We do not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your consent, and we do not sell or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Third Parties We Share Information With

• Stripe Inc. — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/au/privacy. Stripe may store payment and billing information in accordance with their policy.
• Courier / delivery providers — your name and delivery address are shared with the courier service when your order is dispatched.
• Nextcloud (self-hosted) — order files and print artwork are stored on our self-hosted Nextcloud instance operated within Australia.

We do not transfer your personal information to recipients outside Australia, except where Stripe processes payments through their international infrastructure.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored on servers located in Australia. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted HTTPS connections, secure password hashing (bcrypt), and access controls to protect your information. Photo files uploaded for printing are retained for up to 7 days after order completion, then automatically deleted from our servers.

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to any legal retention obligations).
• Complain about a breach of the APPs.

7. Cookies and Session Storage

We use browser session storage and cookies solely to maintain your login session while you use the portal. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Stripe may set cookies as part of the payment process — these are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
